Welcome to the Club son.

Seems he hasn't gotta Wiki page yet.

The Biancocelesti sporting director has vented his anger on Roberto Mancini and his assistant for poaching his youth player to England without his consent.

Lazio have blasted Manchester City for pilfering one of their brightest youths Vlad Marin from their camp to England, and has stated that Roberto Mancini acted dishonestly by not informing the club of the move.

The 17-year-old winger was a part of the Biancocelesti’s youth academy, but suddenly disappeared from the city to appear with the Light Blues, before he was able to sign a professional contract with the Italian club.

The Gazzetta dello Sport has claimed that Mancini and his assistant Attilio Lombardo had talked with the youngster during a recent youth tournament, and convinced the Romanian international to abandon the capital outfit and move to Manchester.

Igli Tare stated that he cannot give an official statement at the moment, but stressed that it seems that Marin will not be returning to the Rome outfit.

The Lazio sporting director slammed Mancini for his dishonesty, and stressed that a better way would have been to inform him before making a move.

The Biancocelesti chief stated that the youngster can go and play for Manchester city, but insisted that the behaviour of the English outfit was unethical.

While talking to the press, the 39-year-old said:

“We don’t know anything official yet, but it’s clear the lad will no longer be playing with us. He can go to City. Mancini acted dishonestly. He could’ve made a phone call and told us. That’s no way to behave.”

Igli Tare went on to clarify that they could have bound Marin with a contract, then they would have to give contracts to 10 other youngsters as well, a move that was financially unfeasible.

“In theory we could’ve signed Marin, but in practical terms we couldn’t, because we would’ve had to do the same with another 10 teenagers in our academy. That would’ve wrecked the budget. The truth is that the current rules on young players in Italy have to be changed.”

This is not the first instance of its kind, as Lazio also lost Federico Macheda to Manchester United in similar circumstances
