I wonder why twitter makes footballers behave like dickheads. It was always available to them before - if they wanted some ill-thought out nonsense to be read by millions within a few hours they could just pick up the phone to a journo, but they didn't do it. Something about twitter that makes them think it's a good idea to broadcast their stupidity.

Just watched the vid of him being presented with his cake on the plane. Some poor air stewardess trying to sing happy birthday to him and he doesn't even look up or take his headphones off. Nob. As if making the girl feel like shit is going to advance his cause with the owners any.

Unbelievable, this morning I probably would've said he was one of my favourite city players ever.

Yaya and his agent can go fuck themselves.

Bayern do OK without him, as do both Madrid clubs and Barcelona.

He's not irreplaceable.

This is plain embarrassing. How delicate are footballers these fucking days?!

He has more money than God, he was in business class on a plane being given a cake for his 31st....what on fucking earth else does he want.

Ross Barkley........FFP will put end to that

Some cheap foreign unknowns or get Superman back, or some freebies.

Even better get some of our youth coming through.;

Turned out he was mentally unstable. Should be ideal.

Yayas heads gone.

Guillem Balague says Barcelona will listen to offers for Fabregas

It doesn't take a Rocket scientist to see where i want this one to go.

Just watched that myself. Could he not hear what was going on? That's the only possible excuse, otherwise the guy is a complete cunt. Not that I should be surprised that a footballer acted like a cunt but, as others have said, I can't believe the swing in my estimation of the guy since yesterday

Fuck him off. Fergie did it all the time at the Munichs as soon as someone thought they were bigger than the club

Yaya was good at barca but he's great at city. The game suits him best here but if he thinks he'll be as influential in another team, well that's a gamble he has to take but he's got it sweet here. there was a poll a few weeks ago from Barca fans asking them who would they take back from past players that are still playing and they voted for Yaya. I think it's gone to his head.

Neither Barkley nor Fabregas are players in the Yaya mould. I would say Pogba would be a decen shout. Failing that, Vidal maybe? Schweinsteiger wouldn't move I don't think. The fact it's so difficult to imagine who could replace him underlines his importance but his actions make me want him out of the club

We should never of made that song up. The one that goes to the tune of Delilah, about paying Yaya more. Must of gone to his deluded head. Words fail me

I just saw an article about Yaya and what he 'tweeted' when Rodney Marsh claimed he would leave City back in November.

Yaya apparently said at the time:

“Out of respect for my fans and my club!! How can I be unhappy when i get so much love and respect from everyone in city?”

He needs to tell his agent to wind his neck in or he needs to fuck off.
