It's all paper talk stirred up by his agent and swallowed whole by halfwits on the internet?

i have total faith in the club to handle this situation. I am finding it hard to think of a player who has left us in the last 6 years that has gone on to bigger and better things......think carefully Yaya.......

So......

He'll now stay if he is offered a coaching role.

That's a lot of Birthdays.

Clearly the world has misunderstood what the agent wasn't saying

theguardian.com, Tuesday 27 May 2014 11.09 BST Yaya Touré has cast his future at Manchester City in doubt and hinted that he would be interested in a move to PSG. Photograph: Nick Potts/PA
Yaya Touré has stated it would be an “honour” to play for Paris St-Germain as the midfielder continues to suggest he wants to leave Manchester City.

Last week the Ivorian claimed discontent at the club due to a lack of acknowledgment from the City hierarchy on his 31st birthday. Touré has since reiterated his wish to return to Barcelona and now says that he would be happy to play for PSG too.

“Given the goals of Paris, how could you not be interested in a club like that?” Touré told France Football. “PSG have become one of the strongest teams in Europe. It would be a honour to one day play for a club like that. If I can be of service [then good].

“Given the magnificent season Manchester City have had, everyone talks about me and everything is open. My agent, Dimitry [Seluk], is hanging on the telephone and he knows what he has to do, I have complete confidence in him. Nobody knows what can happen tomorrow, my attention is on the World Cup and we will see afterwards.”

Regarding Barca, who Touré played for before joining City, he added: “Yes, I have said I would like to finish my career at Barcelona. You never know because football moves quickly, you never know.”

3 year contract, so you'll be expensive for them to sign... and given they've already dropped £50m on sideshow bob FFP may become an issue.

I'm surprised at how little I care if he goes now. He's the best in the world at what he does, but as soon as he acts like he doesn't want to be here, or starts holding the club to random, he can fuck off as far as I'm concerned.

(I'd feel different if he was 25 and not 31)

I actually don't have a problem with him reviewing his options - and I wouldn't have a problem with him if he stays or goes.

It's all this farcical birthday nonsense and the behaviour of his agent slagging the club that's the biggest wind-up. :naughty:

He likes PSG now cos his agent has suddenly realised that they are the only ones who might be able to afford him.
