Considering he just had a run of interviews where he said he's in for the long run, I find it hard to believe he orchestrated this.

guys... it's goal.com, a 90% rubbish website. Do not take anything they post on that website seriously. As an example I read a few days ago an opinion article that said we need to get rid of Lescott if we want to win the champions league.... just ignore this site.

logic tells us at 250K a week or more possibly, hes not going anywhere..... just won the league, highest played player at our club...can start every game.. quitting international to focus on club football...all the things we know already point to him not going anywhere...this was probably some dumb interview mixing up the words of yaya's agent... barca would not pay him the salary he has now especially being he was there already and played sparingly.. media is going to start attempting to say all our players are leaving now or are open to moves... if it smells like sh*t, it is sh*t

Well! I'm not losing my sleep over greedy rat agent's comment. Its quite funny now its all over the net .
The high light of this interview is when he says Yaya would not cost much.
Money bag scum ...btw Yaya is the highest paid player in city squad.

I think Kolo will be gone a little more permanently than that tbf.

Didn't Yaya say he would consider not going this time around?

Manchester City midfielder Yaya Toure has given Roberto Mancini a huge boost by revealing he wants to stay at the club for the rest of his career.

City boss Mancini will speak to the media on Monday morning under a little pressure ahead of Tuesday night’s Champions League game at home to Ajax.

But Toure has dismissed suggestions of rifts in the City dressing room and revealed he would like to sign a new contract at the Barclays Premier League champions.

Toure told French football paper L’Equipe: 'I want to make history with this club, I want to end my career here.

'I'm pretty sure and I hope that when I'm an old man, sat around, they will still talk about me here.

'Of course there are rows at big club, with all the people with different egos, including mine.

'But we will be okay. I am still confident.
