Clichy brings so much to our game. Constantly involved, great use of the ball, always available, plenty of pace and good feet. I really like him.

Sadly Kolarov does nowhere near as much. He doesn't seem to fit the team as well either - maybe it's the lack of pace and quick passing, but where Clichy seems to gel perfectly with Nasri/Silva/Balotelli/Aguero/whoever's in front of him, Kolarov tends to stick out like a sore thumb and looks leaden footed.

Kolarov does look heavy of foot.

Clichy, if he can start turning his crosses from 60% success rate to 75%, we'd be in even better shape. Great player and he will get better with us.

Was well happy when we signed him. Still only 25-26 I think and proven Premier League quality. Arsenal fans seemed to think they'd done us over as they had Gibbs coming through

If Kolarov had played as well last season as he has at times this season, we probably wouldn't have gone for him.

Really? Still think Kolarov is a pretty terrible defender.

Clichy at £7m is one of the bargains of the season.

Conk.

Kolarov has only looked good earlier in the season because we didn't have too much defending to do. Not being able to defend is not a good attribute for a defender. Have always like Clichy but he has been pretty fucking good recently

He counts as homegrown too. Definitely one of our better bits of business since the takeover. In fact, our three best defenders were all pretty cheap.
