Nasri was doing some dirty shit last night, getting right up the noses of wiganers. A couple of wigan players gave him a right mouthful on occasion. Exactly what we need from a mid-fielder really. With Silva playing the box to box MF and all round good guy, Nasri plays the sideline to sideline MF with an element of dirty fucker to his play. Fair one.

really?? what was he doing? i have to say i'm impressed from samir, top lad!

Citing the likes of Lukuka and Wickman as terrible buys is a bit short sighted too.

From the fail!
According to Nasri, he joined Manchester City to win trophies and he may well achieve that by winning the league title this season.

But it will come at a personal price to the Frenchman. At Arsenal he was crucial to the midfield with his keen eye for goal and talent to display a defence splitting pass making him one of the Premier League’s most exciting stars.

Since joining City, the 24-year-old has become a bit-part player. The talent is still there but his displays are being far overshadowed by his team-mates and his stock has fallen.

Considering the relentless pursuit by Roberto Mancini, many expected Nasri to have a bigger impact.

Actual statistics - Bit part? 44 games? 6 goals and nine assists

Current club totals

Apps As sub Goals Yellow Red
Total (Club) 44 (8) 6 4 0
League 29 (4) 5 2 0
FA Cup 1 (0) 0 0 0
League Cup 4 (1) 1 1 0
European/Others 10 (3) 0 1 0

Maybe the rest of the Arsenal team made him look better also? Big Fish - Small talent pond, Medium Fish - Big talent Pond?

i say this all the time, i think all the players that come in need atleast one year to settle into OUR club.

Especially Nasri coming from AFC as one of their top players/ if not their best player, he needs to adjust to not starting every game. He even said he got hurt so often because he played too much.
I have been seeing little glimpse of what he can do, and i really think next year we will all see him be just as dominate as Silva as he becomes a custom to his new role.

Keeping true to my first sentence above, I still think Aguero is going to get a lot better, (hes already pretty damn good) those misses in the newcastle game i think will be where he improves (finishing). Exciting times...

While style of play may need adjusting to, methinks Aguero was already pretty gold at finishing before coming to City

How can they possibly enforce that? Who exactly would enforce that? I smell bullshit.

* Federation Francais de Foot - French FA.
