morbid curiosity.

death and illness, people always compare it to themselves.

'Oh you have the flu? 2 years ago I had it really bad'.

I never thought of it like this, but your spot on tbf, i know i posted that, but i have no idea why, it is morbid curiosity i guess.
Its maybe feeling sorry for these lads, but in the back of my mind thinking thank fuck its not me...

morbid/human curiosity.

you're not going to see yourself die after all, so you get some idea what it could be like. you're not human if that doesn't hold the same kind of terrible fascination that staring into a fire has.

and it's the only thing we really all have in common.

as for thank fuck it's not me? yeah, at that age sure. but fuck me, there's far worse ways to go. *bing* lights out.

bet your ass i'll be an old man and hoping to every deity under the sun i go that quickly and painlessly.

I satisfy my morbid curiosity at work

Got to say I'm with Paddy on this one. All I heard from every body who sat around me was "I hope we don't sign him" then they all turn up with Foe 23 shirts the following season. Granted, he had a bit of a Wanchope-esque purple patch in front of goal that led to the "Feed the Foe" chant but a legend he was not

I was playing 5-a-side the night MVF died. When I scored a goal I pointed to the sky and said "that one's for you big fella". :)

Didn't even need to click on that to know what was coming. But I did.

He was alright. Bit too generous for his own good. Bit too smart as well, bit showy. I preferred him when he was alive though.

It probably achieved that. If not for others, at least to you.
