De-Jong edges it for me, by a whisker....he is our talisman and we capitulated against Liverpool without him....

I think the poll could be public. I'm not ashamed of my answer.

1. Kompany. There hasn't been a more consistently-good player than Vince the Prince this season.... (except that fucking everton match)

2. Yaya. Scored some incredibly important goals this season

3. Nigel. Has been almost as consistent as Kompany... but not as good IMO

4. Silva. Magic... the driving force of the City attack

5. Hart. Best season for a goalkeeper in a City jersey ever... that should count for something, non? His performance v. Spurs (away) was the best from a city player this season...

6. Zaba. For the battle scars

7. Richards. Most improved player of the season.

it could be said without his goals we stood to lose him and Carlos and Mancini. His goals and input also allow us to attract big names for next season.

Yaya may have been pivotal in taking us to the next level, next season will tell.

I thought he was in with a shout even before the massive semi and yesterday. Sometimes the most obvious answer is the right one. Komps has bee triffic too

It would be difficult to not name Kompany here but, yeh, credit where it's due Yaya has stepped up.

See him out pace dudes yesterday? He is 6'4" and has bags of pace, excellent.
