Vinny just edges it for me.

I'd be happy for either of them to get it though.

Maybe a poll could have worked.

you all have cases but I think you would have a hard time getting past Yaya. scored two important goals for us you have to say.

£200k a week? All day long.

Poll would be good. I personally agree with Squidge and it's Vinny for me

very close between vinny and de jong for me. vinny for his season long awesomeness, de jong for the same and his grin after scoring.

yaya's contribution has truly been when it mattered most.

i have a headache.

De-Jong edges it for me, by a whisker....he is our talisman and we capitulated against Liverpool without him....

I think the poll could be public. I'm not ashamed of my answer.

1. Kompany. There hasn't been a more consistently-good player than Vince the Prince this season.... (except that fucking everton match)

2. Yaya. Scored some incredibly important goals this season

3. Nigel. Has been almost as consistent as Kompany... but not as good IMO

4. Silva. Magic... the driving force of the City attack

5. Hart. Best season for a goalkeeper in a City jersey ever... that should count for something, non? His performance v. Spurs (away) was the best from a city player this season...

6. Zaba. For the battle scars :)

7. Richards. Most improved player of the season.

So you're choosing 7 players? ;)

it could be said without his goals we stood to lose him and Carlos and Mancini. His goals and input also allow us to attract big names for next season.

He was great yday, big game player.

Yaya may have been pivotal in taking us to the next level, next season will tell.

In fact scratch that, he HAS been pivotal. We've won the FA CUP for fucks sake!

It would be difficult to not name Kompany here but, yeh, credit where it's due Yaya has stepped up.

See him out pace dudes yesterday? He is 6'4" and has bags of pace, excellent.

To be fair it should be tevez, but it would be wrong for it not to go to vinny, he could be , for the money we paid, the best buy ever...

Poll was a fair call ... I see VK is winning .... sure, he was awesome. Perhaps its unfair to try to single anyone out ..... looking forward to next year where I think Dzeko will shine ... if he gets a chance. Still V worried about Ballotelli TBF. Will winning the FA Cup keep Tevez here ???
