Kompanys picked up an injury in training with Belgium and has gone to hospital for a scan on his calf.

Bad, however, finally we have a CH for cover that is good. I am dying to see Mangala (sp).

Is this tit for tat or a bit worrying.
Our centre back cover situation is ok but I always feel happier if Vincent is there.

Kompany missed Belgium training again today with an injury, unsure what it is.

There seems to be a fair bit of media speculation about a bid for John Stones.

Could do a lot worse imo.

Be a great signing, shudder to think what it'd cost to make Everton part with him though.

We had to pay a shitload for Delph though he's turned out better than I'd thought he would when he's been fit.

Think we'd get John Cojones for the same shitload that we got Delph for?

More prolls.

Could be worth it though. If we want to really start winning stuff it's the back four that needs some money spending on it.

Thought we had a lad called Jason Denayer.

Gotta give him a shot sometime

Am I missing something here - Delph was about £10m wasn't he? Everton turned down more than £30m from Chelsea for Stones, and his value can have only gone up since then.

Marc Wilmots confirms that Kompany will be out for 6-8 weeks. He's injured his other calf.

Could be the last we've seen him in a City shirt perhaps??? Really sad if it is.

Utter rubbish. Of course we'll see him in a city shirt. Ball playing defender and one of the best in the country if not world. May be worth sticking him the same meat free diet (iirc?)kun went on to reduce the frequency of muscle injuries. One for the meds and physios to fix.

One thing is I didn't realise how long vinny so been with us. Since 2006. Time flys and all that.

But he should have the cotton wool treatment for next season. Really get these calf problems sorted.
Must be a specialist who can get on with it.

Gutted for him as he has been the man for us.
