Valerie mark 2, when it happened i never thought this injury would be as bad as it's getting. Hope it doesn't hamper him from now on but if his knees fucked then it will be a problem for him from now.

The number of people that get injured in training and the time it takes to get people fit again makes me wonder about some of our backroom staff.

Most of the longer term injuries are nothing to do with training tbf.

Balotelli in European game
Kolarov Spurs game
Boateng Germany game

Not sure how Bridge broke his toe though and Ade was definitely a training ground injury.

Just a bit took from someone who went to the training today.

Hello Folks.....

Got a chance to go along to Carrington today and see who was involved. A horrible day weather wise and the brolly was out today, Yaya and Ballotelli were first out.

To be honest i've seen Mancini put them through a lot harder sessions, but the talent on show was frightening.

Kolarov and Balotelli were involved in the full session as were Yaya and Boateng

The manager had previously expressed his wish to give the Blues skipper some time off, but a combination of injuries and constraints from rulings over the make-up of the squad mean that the Argentinean may have to play.

Roque Santa Cruz cannot play as he was omitted from the squad City submitted for this competition, but Mario Balotelli is still unavailable and there is a slight concern over Jo, leaving the manager with fewer options than he would like.

"We must see if Jo will be available, but most of the others are OK. Only Mario and Kolarov are out, but probably are fine for the next game. Kolo is not available either for Poznan," he declared.

Hope so. Our bench will be a bit tasty, never mind the team.

He'd be injured and unavailable. And you couldn't play Bellamy upfront on his own.

so, despite his non appearance against blackpool, adebayor wil be playing up front, prolly on his own?
