This got me wondering if there was any alternative to David Silva turning us all gay, and a quick check to see if he's got a sister turned up this (from her facebook page)

Judging by the family resemblance and the fact that they're part Japanese I'd say it was the one on the left. Probably the pick of the bunch and a good rack. Still can't see past David though.

Poor.

That does look to be her. So she's 5'5, bit fat, had her teeth done and has massive cans. I'd prefer David any day of the week.

Good foraging btw.

I've turned into a right internet weirdo since I stumbled across that Latvian girl.

I'm pretty sure I'm right. We've had this before and everyone disagreed with me, but I'm pretty sure it's the continuation of the verb "to pass" - http://www.dailywritingtips.com/passed-vs-past/

That link says 'past' is correct though, surely?

Quote:
“Past” as an adverb
The first meaning the OED cites for past being used as an adverb is “So as to pass or go by; by.” For example:
“The ball sped past the goalkeeper.”

In 'Still can't see passed David though' v 'Still can't see past David though', the verb in the sentence is 'to see', not 'to pass'. The word in question describes how you are seeing, therefore it's an adverb.

I've always seen past as to do with time and passed as to do with physical objects; e.g. "he passed me the dildo in the past"

Passed is the past participle of the verb 'to pass'. Everything else is 'past'.

Or that. I just know when it's right or wrong, I can be a bit of a grammar nazi if I want to be, and in SEC's case it's definitely wrong.

Thanks Bert, sometimes you have to hear it a seventh time before you believe it.

Good article in The Sun today, coincidentally mentioning the tribute to his cousin among other things. Also, his sister was the one in the middle. Can't see it myself.

In that Sun article, see down the right it says 'Joe Hart described him as...'?

That was in response to a question i asked Hart on the City/Twitter #ask series.
