Sadly I think we need to move him on. That way Mancini won't be tempted to play him again. He may well be suited by a return to Italy, premier league defender he is not or never will be. He pulls our defense so far out of position we look like conceding down that flank all the time. I believe he is still coveted by clubs back in Italy so we can probably get most if not all of our money back.

No No and No.......

I'd love to See him in a wide LM position, what a cross fro Dzekos goal tonight, he has a beauty of a left foot who can whip in great balls, i think he is wasted at LB.

This, I've always thought he had more of a midfielder's positional awareness opposed to a LB, although he's a tad slow to be a midfielder. Other than that I think he suits the role pretty well. Aleks and Clichy linking up with Silva or Nasri would be very difficult to defend against. The few games he has played in LM he put in fairly strong performances, from what I can remember.

One of our best players tonight in an attacking sense. Every time he was in a position to cross there was someone challenging him and he managed to get a decent cross in.

I have some concerns about him defensively but there is no doubt in my mind that he can change the game for us (as he has done more than once), and for that reason he is a definite stayer in my mind.

Aguero barely touched the ball tonight. Should he be out too?

Agree, he's definitely got something no-one else has in our team, no-one that can play on the left anyway. Could be another Bale - remember when he used to play left back? Constantly criticized for his defending, wasn't on the winning side in the first 20-odd games he played for them. That ball for the second goal was as good as you'll see, and his free kick conversion rate must be the best we've had in recent time. Keep him as a squad player and only play him on the wing.

You don't need pace to be a wide midfielder. E.g. Beckham. I agree Kolarov is a better midfielder.

We lack pace, we don't need to inject any more slowness into the team tbf.

Inter Milan sporting director Marco Branca has confirmed the club are targeting #mcfc left-back Aleksandar Kolarov. [Sky Sports]

Keep their bloody hands off, Great Free kick taker and seems to be just settling in.

Maybe argualbly as well our best crosser of the ball at the club.

Arguably maybe.

I'd still try and create him into a out n out winger.

As Spurs did with Bale.

Take the money. Find another left back.

We've got a left back. Play Kolarov as a left winger as G spot says.

I had no idea Kolarocket was 26, thought he was only about 22.
