No! No! It's his best season with us, he looks really dangerous going forward, found some pace and can tackle now! What is the point of keeping Dzeko if we sell our best crosser? I still like to see him as a LW with Gael in LB. yes please.

The thing I have noticed most about this is the thread title. £17m?! I'd forgotten about that. It's not as bad as the loss we're going to make on Bridge but jesus that's a lot of money

The same thought crossed my mind Noddy.

£17m is way to much for the odd decent cross and free kick.

Oooh .. did i mention that he can't defend?

Am I late to the party on this pic? I wouldn't mind if next season's jersey was anything like this. Classy.

Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini has dismissed speculation that he is looking to offload Aleksandar Kolarov this summer.

The Serbia left-back joined City from Serie A side Lazio in 2010 in an £18million transfer deal and helped the club to the Barclays Premier League title this season.

However, he played second fiddle to Gael Clichy for large parts of the campaign, sparking speculation about his future as Inter Milan and Juventus were linked with a move for the 26-year-old. However, Mancini has insisted Kolarov remains part of his plans.

"Kolarov? He is a great left-back and I would like to keep him," Mancini told Italian TV station Sky Sport 24. "We have very good players and there many clubs interested in them, which means that we have done our jobs well. "We know his (Kolarov's) value well and we want to keep him." Kolarov, who made just 12 league starts for City this season but was often preferred to Clichy in the Champions League, is under contract until June 2015

Manchester City's Serbian defender Aleksandar Kolarov will face no police action after he was accused of racially abusing a fan holding an Albania flag.

Northumbria Police launched an investigation following the Blues victory at Newcastle United on December 15.

They received a complaint of racist language from two Albanian home supporters.

At the time Kolarov was accused of making a remark as he was warming up on the touchline.

But the M.E.N. has learned that the police probe has now been concluded and has found that Kolarov has no case to answer

A spokesman for the force confirmed they would not be taking further action.

Fucking Albanians...what are they like?

So the allegation makes national media, the subsequent lack of a charge only gets reported locally? Figures

Always that same way.

A decent player, finally seems to have settled.

Tuttosport: Kolarov has phoned Tevez about Juve and Tevez has spoken highly of the club. Kolarov could join Juve "as early as this week".

Juventus revive interest in Man City's Kolarov
Juventus have revived their interest in Manchester City full back Aleksandar Kolarov.
The 28-year-old is a popular figure at the Etihad but is interested in a return to Serie A where he has other suitors such as Roma and Inter Milan.
His wages of £2.9m a year are a sticking point but Italian champions Juventus are prepared to offer a longer deal on around £2.5m a year. On Wednesday, Juve officials met Kolarov's representatives at the Westin Palace Hotel in Milan and they are due to hold further talks after the weekend before making a proposal to City.
The Serbia defender has one year left on contract at City, who he joined from Lazio in 2010.

I think he'll go this summer. Don't know what we'd get for him? £9m? Could put that towards a bid for Luke Shaw perhaps...

Sounds like a plan. Hope he plays on Sunday, need him and Zaba bombing on again but I wouldn't lose sleep if it was his last game for us despite his improvement this season. Especially if it was to make way for one of the Munich's prime targets
