Just been watching Feyenoord v Ajax on espn. It's 2-1 to Feyenoord at HT and Guidetti has scored both for Feyenoord. Bring him home!

...make that a hat trick for Guidetti. :8ball:

He has to be in the City squad next season.

I would love to see some of these young un's come through..
we have had a lot of shit thrown at us for buying up players, and for some to come through to the first team, and actually make it would be some justification to the idea..

To score a hatrick at that level means he must be at least semi-decent. Theres the 4th Striker.

The Dutch league is alright isn't it? Probally not so much these days but I can remember Ajax being a big team in years past, like wise Feyenoord etc.

Sounds more like we are his agent than club?

Maybe we can get him to play a few games for us and see how he does before offloading him to a team that put us out the CL?

Bayern Munich have confirmed they are following the form of Man City starlet John Guidetti, who is currently lighting up the Eredivisie.

The 19-year-old has scored 17 goals in 15 games for Feyenoord this season after joining them on a season-long loan spell.

Guidetti only signed a new deal with City in the summer, but that came after he agreed a pre-contract with Twente and the Premier League club had to pay compensation to retain him.

Now the Swedish teenager is showing his true credentials at De Kuip and that has led to Bayern confirming they are monitoring him.

Bayern scout and youth coach Bjorn Andersson has confirmed both Guidetti and Montpellier's Olivier Giroud are on their radar.

"We are looking at him and a striker at Montpellier, (Olivier) Giroud, very closely," Andersson told De Telegraaf.

Tie him down to a new contract and have him on the bench next season.

Scoring a load in the Netherlands doesn't necessarily make you a world-beater. You could have a Suarez on your hands (minus the racism and biting) or you could have an Afonso Alves. He's definitely showing himself to be worth a look though. Unless we can get a quality fourth striker reasonably inexpensively, he would be certainly worth a look as back-up.

Stop engaging me in rows then complaining that I hate you!

Yeah I know for every Van Nistlerooy there's a Kezman, but this boy's got something about him, I can feel it in my water. The annoying thing is, if we didn't own him we'd probably be being linked with £20m bids for him now!

I agree with Darlo.
Although it has to be said, as far as strikers go Suarez only has an 8% conversion rate (half the average of 16%).

These 'rows' aren't slagging matches though - they're just an exchange of opinions and they're usually made with well-reasoned responses. If it's a genuine debate then I can't see the harm in it. I did notice that, yesterday and today, I had seemed by be regularly taking up contrary positions to you but that is down to the coincidence of opposing views rather than being deliberately hostile.
