Do people really think AJ playing regularly would have any impact on England's woeful contribution to international football? He's good but he's not Messi, and I think even with Messi in the team England still wouldn't make it past the quarters of any major tournament. Fuck England, that's not a consideration at all. Fair play if he wants to move on, but from our point of view I don't really see the point in getting rid of AJ and replacing him with Sinclair.

England need all the help they can get TBF.

Im not saying he would win England anything, just he has a lot of talent and could be a great player, but his face doesnt fit with Mancini by the looks of it.

In reality not many do? Who was the last one? I honestly can't remember. Certainly not SWP, Joey Barton, Nedum. Perhaps I have forgotten.

Johnson with the corner......

The word is that Mancini's main gripe with AJ is his lack of application* or so I hear.

*application - the ability to pass an open pub door

Thats because we can only loan players these days! They cant play against us. Probably Dunne? Seems to remember him costing us a game a couple of years ago, may not have scored mind.

I'll be sad to see AJ go but if he wants to then so be it. At least we'll get some profit out of it. I reckon Sinclair could be a shrewd move - low-profile enough that he won't demand to start (he's competing with Balotelli, Aguero, Tevez, Nasri, Dzeko, Silva and Milner for three or four spots of the starting XI) but good enough that I think he'll add to the squad and give us another option (he can actually play as a proper winger but also a striker if injury necessitates). He's versatile like Milner and Rodwell - these are good squad players to have in my opinion.

Post subject:  Re: Johnson

honestly was a huge AJ fan from the moment he came to the club he made such an impact as a sub scoring a lot of important late minute goals... but tbf i don't see much from him anymore as he doesn't get that many runs and every time he comes on he comes in from the left wing with a bending shot from the top of the box that he scores usually (im starting to think hes a one trick pony) but I think this is more AJ's choice to leave rather than Mancini wanting him to go... If Mancini can get on with Tevez their is absolutely no reason he shouldn't be able to with AJ...too bad i own an AJ kit...

He's value at that although I think it's good business for us too.

Good luck to him.
