Hull City manager Phil Brown has asked Belgian striker Emile Mpenza to join his Premier League new boys for pre-season training.


Brown has invited the former Manchester City star to Italy to check on his fitness after a nightmare end to his spell at Eastlands.

I'd like to see him do well. He scored some important goals for us. Particularly at the close of the Pearce era.
