One week on from my operation the boredom and frustration has well and truly set in that’s for sure. The operation went very well and at this point I would like to thank all the medical personnel that have looked after me so far.

[color="Red"]***Its been hard adjusting to life, particularly as I can't drive, can't really walk anywhere and I am having to spend 8 hours a day on a cpm machine, (a machine that bends my knee for me), which I hasten to add is torturous[/color]. I'm not one for sitting around doing nothing and with seven weeks left of the same, it’s not going to be pleasant. There's only so much daytime TV you can watch and it’s funny how when a sportsman is injured and out of action the desire to get back out there is greater than ever. It’s like anything in life, sometimes you just don’t really appreciate how much it means to you until it’s taken away.
