my worst City 11. Trying to pick players I've seen and thought were shit, there are always others that didn't get a game, but these I saw frequently:

Manager: Phil Neal

G/k: Simon Tracey

R/b: Laurent Charvet
C/b: Alan Kernaghen
C/b: Tony Vaughan
L/b: Michael Frontzeck (although I hated Tarnat more)

R/w:
CM: Jamie Pollock
CM: Nigel Clough/ Ged Brannon
L/w: Neil Heaney

Cf: Lee Bradbury
Cf: Brian Conlon/ Craig Russell

Can't think of a RW I truly hated

Barry Conlon?

Both he and Craig Russell played for Darlo. Russell couldn't hit a barn door. Conlon was decent enough (at Darlo's level). Conlon >>> Russell.

You know what Coods? I'd find it hard to disagree with that miserable lot.. I might find space for Tony Grant ahead of Pollock.

RW's a tricky one. Summerbee very rarely covered himself in glory but he was a trier. I've been fairly fond of most of them since - Beagrie, Cooke, SWP. We went a few seasons without a proper RW when we had some proper out of position dross playing there - Trabelsi et al. But none ever really played more than a dozen or so games.

Good shout.

Possibly room for Corradi or Bianchi up front too.

I'd go with that, or Kanchelskis. I was gonna say Sun when he tried his arm as a RW, but looking back on it I reckon that might've been his best position.

Pearce signed Corradi & Samaras. And Vass and Cole for good measure.

Pearce signed Vassell???? Thought Vass was there before Pearce took over. Probably wrong mind but bloody hell time flies.
