attacking-wise, Richards is better by a mile.

Zabs is much, much better at crossing and toeing the line he's supposed to, Richards is prone to rampaging runs all over the pitch

Richards can pick out a cross when he needs to (I'm thinking of the goal he set up against Arsenal in particular) - plus his rampaging runs can pay off whether it by scoring a goal or getting a free-kick after a dubious dive. He also poses about the biggest threat in the box of any of our players from corners and free-kicks.

You're right actually, he has been improving lots and has an end product now instead of just dribbling it into nowhere but I think Zabs is still the better crosser from the byline. If we could somehow mash them both into one player then I'd be very happy.

Micahs back in contention this weekend after recovering from a back injury. Very surprised to see he is only 22.

Sky Sports News understands Manchester City have turned down an approach from Italian giants Juventus for full-back Micah Richards.

Richards, 22, has struggled to secure a regular place in Roberto Mancini's star-studded first XI and has started just 10 league games this season.

The England international has already expressed his concerns to Mancini about his lack of action and recently indicated he would be prepared to leave Eastlands in search of regular football.

Serie A giants Juventus are thought to have enquired about Richards' availability after being impressed by his display in last month's Europa League clash between the sides.

But it seems Mancini still regards the versatile and powerful defender as a valuable member of his expensively-assembled squad.

Richards, who is hoping to make his return from a back injury in City's FA Cup tie at Notts County, has found himself sharing right-back duties with Jerome Boateng and Pablo Zabaleta this term.

Way better at right back than Boateng and he's right footed. Shame after playing so well he gets injured. Sure he fucks up often enough but he has pace and that's something we really lack. Hope it's not too serious.

If he's fit quickly, what's the possibility of trying him at winger and setting him loose going forward? The topic has been raised in a couple of places I read.

He had a good game today, but as that world famous saying goes, one something doesn't make the wotsit. Zabs has played well this season too - be good if we can get them two performing well and competing for RB, with Boateng covering the CB positions.

As long as he IS fit. Last thing we need is a forced substitution 15 minutes into the match......shortly before we go down to 10 men when Mario twats Nani.

It would have to be a proper full on twat, not a gay slap to the face, a push or one of those silly 'not quite a headbutt but enough to get you sent off' efforts.

THEN it'd be worth it. :approve:

Actually, come to think...since this is the only fixture I have gone to this season, and I really can't see me going to more than 4 matches per annum, I might pop the fence at Wembley, kick Fergie's knee in and slap a rear naked choke on the c nt. Fuck it'd be fun.
