Listened to the first half of the game last night and watched the second half when I got home.

What a fucking cracking player Corluka is, a fantastic signing by Sven. The more I see this guy play, the more I realise how 'ordinary' Dunne is, and the more comfortable I feel about him leaving. Corluka is world class without a doubt, Dunne is very effective in a good quality back four, but as an individual player he's above average to good.

I really want to see Corluka back at right back, if Dunne goes I'd rather buy a quality CB rather than shuffle the pack we have. Top top signing by Sven.

He had an excellent game last night. I was well impressed not just by him, but by the Croatian team as a whole.
I hope he stays at City for some time to come.

The best of the bunch for me too East Stand, he's fantastic. The most "quality" player I've seen in a City shirt for many, many years.

When you look at Sven's signings (especially compared to Keegan's) you have to admit he did pretty well on the whole.

Ok, Bianchi didn't work out and Garrido appears to be out of his depth but every manager has a few duffers.

Aye, you really can't knock Sven's transter record whilst at City.

Felt sorry for Gelson, he's on a hiding to nothing playing for that bunch of spastics. Playing in a fucking swimming pool didn't hekp either.

The true sign of a world class player is that they always have time on the ball - Charlie looked like he had all the time in the world last night

Has anyone tried to sign that Olic fella - he would be worth a cheeky bid

Yeah same. As ESM says I would actually prefer Dunne left and we get in a younger CB and starting making solid a tight fit defence. He's been great but I reckon it's time.

I think Corluka is a super defender, although i have heard one or two people not convinced, so i told em he is good. Shame garrido isn't of the same ilk.

i see garrido as more of a wingback or left winger tbh, but with petrov pwning that spot he probably wont get much of a look in

I thought he did alright in the beginning but then I think the pace of the game caught up with him after a while. I don't think they place too much emphasis on defensive duties in Spain either as he was all over the place in a few games as they highlighted on MOTD
