Joe Hart could be Tottenham bound after rejecting a new contract with Manchester City. (The Sun)

so this has turned up again, wasn't there one doing the rounds about us swapping Hart for mr couldn't-catch-the-clap-in-a-brothel Robinson as well?

So, if Hart goes and Issakson wants to leave, that means Kasper in the only goalie we have

If it's true let him go and buy somebody else with the hansom proceeds. But I can't see it myself, it's exciting times to be a blue and Hart is first choice and breaking into the England squad so I see no reason he would want to jump ship.

Just the Sun stirring it up a bit I think.

Obviously it'd be a mistake if we let Hart go anywhere, he's been outstanding this season. Isaakson I couldn't give a toss about, I've been distinctly unimpressed every time I've seen him play. Kaspar, whilst shaky on a couple of aspects of his game, I would rather keep hold of than let go. Young, promising and more capable than Isaakson imo.

With regards to Hart, see, Dunne & Distin.

Spurs scraped Europe, we scraped Europe... It's a sideways step, never mind an upwards one

Footballers boil my piss. They make more money per week than the UK annual average wage and show zero loyalty cos they can make more money elsewhere.

You are loaded, show some dignity and passion.

and that's usually the point at which such things as dignity, passion and loyalty get lost. in a blizzard of notes.

If you dont want to play for us, i'll show you where the door is. dont take the wee wee out of us and do one.

You know what, i think theyre all greedy, ungrateful fuckers. Without us Joe Hart would be nothing.
Just fuck off and leave us alone.

(Nicky can come back now!!! Yay)

I'm not overly keen on Hart being number one next season anyway. Certain aspects of his game that require much more improvement to be a number one in the Prem.

Ideally we'd have a good experienced number one (i.e. Friedel) for a couple more years and let Kasper and Hart fight it out for back up. If either can't be bothered to do that or can't see the wisdom in it then they can indeed fuck off.

Here's a thought....

Now I know PL players train a few hours a day, plus there's friendlies, pre-season stuff to do and cup matches, but this stat is shocking.

If a PL player at a club that isn't in Europe is on £50k a week and plays the full 90 minutes of all 38 league games, he is being paid £2.6m for 4.75 days work. Alternatively he's being paid £760.23p a minute.

I know it isn't as simple as this but there are plenty of players at mid/lower table clubs on this sort of money, also this doesn't include the add on's via sponsorship and merchandising.

so basically anywhere between a good week or a low monthly (after tax) wage, per minute for a footballer. fuck, that makes me sick.
