Talk on transfer-rumours today is that Spurs may be willing to let Aaron Lennon go, with West Ham favourites for his signature. I reckon he would be a cracking buy because imo we need a decent right winger for the balance of the side and have done since SWP went south. Bentley doesn't float my boat but Lennon in a decent passing team would do well.

Would scare the shit out of teams with 2 out and out wingers running at them, and a big target man like Jo, Benjani or even Bianchi. Backed up by an attacking mid like Elano (Ronaldinho!!!) etc.

in the fact that he would actually be playing in his chosen position - and not a converted midfielder or forward then it would be a decent buy, but he's probably cost 10 mill plus and his end product is ropey to say the least

He's not the finished product yet, but he has 2 important attributes. He's young and still getting better and he's English, if Blatter gets his way that's a big plus.

yes hes a great attacking player (apart from his shot)
but he lacks physical presence and i think thats what are current mid field really needs.
maybe use like chelsea use SWP give him the final 30 mins of each game where hes free to run around like a head less chock get the ball and get it to the hit men

Said it before and I'm saying it again. He's only 20.

get him signed up, as long as its not more then the reported £10m, hes the type of player that gets you on the edge of your seat when hes in possession of the ball, and how long is it since we have had that. SWP
