Have to agree with Miggs here. If he genuinely wanted to stay he could of signed when we first offered him a contract

Pretty much right mate, just resign yourself to the fact he's gone, then if he stays, it's an excuse for a piss-up

This is starting to piss me off now. I'd give him a deadline to sign or get fucked. And even if he did re-sign, there'd be no chance of him being captain again next season. Don't know who I'd give it to though. Not sure we've got anyone who's a natural leader on the pitch. I'd have said Richards but I'm not sure he's old enough yet.

Let's also not forget that captain cockface is suspended for the first 3 games next season.

Cousin is the guy at Rangers isn't he? Fulham tried to sign him in January but FIFA rejected it because he'd have played for 3 clubs in one season.

It looks like Dunne and the team are approaching this from the same perspective. Both think the status quo is acceptable, but at the same time they are scanning the horizons in search of a better proposition.

I would rather he'd pledged his support and future to City but I couldn't blame him getting cold feet after Sven went and I can't blame him now for not immediately signing a new contract as soon as Hughes came in. Yes it would be nice if he was more loyal, but then most footballers aren't these days, and to everyone saying we should just get rid, well, I could understand if it was one of the ridiculous number of sub-par strikers we have, but defence is the area we're mostly lacking in and the last thing we need is to get rid of the most experienced defender we have.
