On sky sports news Harry Redknapp claims that they have spoken to Dunne and thinks there is a hiccup in the contract talks but is confident of landing Dunne.

I think someone needs to slap Harry about a bit....grrrrrr

Corluka and Micah are the future.

exactly, but remember when dunny and distin were at city we had one of the best defensive records in the league despite finishing 1 or 2 spots above the relegation zone

This would mean that we've agreed a fee, yet it was said earlier this week that talks with Dunney's people were going well.

Obviously not.

The situation doesn't seem to have changed from a couple of weeks ago when 'Arry said there was a hold up in the deal (presumably related to Dunney waiting to hear what the new manager had to say). It's just old news being recycled - and maybe 'Arry making sure that his interest in Dunne isn't allowed to be forgotten.

What little I saw of Distin last season I thought we were well rid personally.

Loved his strop at the CoMS though. Very funny was that.

Both are error prone chumps whose ability comes nowhere close to matching the potential of Corluka and Richards.

As you can see, my love for Dunne is as fickle as his for City.

You see him on ITV last night with his lovely, shiny black shirt on?

I never really rated distin to be honest but rate dunne. Of course im sure distin has no regrets now having a fa cup winners medal and being able to play with great players like David (Jon Macken) Nugent.....where all poor Dunne has is Micah Richards, Elano, Ronaldinho, Petrov....oh the shame, the shame....
