I was referring more to their central midfielders. Dunn, Tugay, Savage, Mokoena. All spoilers/dirty fuckers and Hughes brought three of those four to the club i believe.

Savage hasnt been there all season. Tugay is very skilled with his passing and shooting.

is that because you have seen more of tugay in the PL than you have watching the illustrious SPL?

Wouldn't have Sidwell at the club, when was the last time he actually played??? We got Ireland Johnson and fernandes, all very young and can only get better. On the dirty players thing, if Dunne does decide to leave, Lucas Neill anybody???? I'm sure he injured 2 players in one match, dirty lil fecker.

I was meaning more the level of transfer - solid but not necessarily spectacular players who might be deemed surplus to requirements at their current club and therefore relatively easy to prise away. Probably better than our transfer targets when we had no money, but not as good as those since we have had money. Not that it's a bad transfer policy if Hughes is able to spot the players to make us better, on two conditions: 1. we don't miss out on better players who would come to us, through under-ambition and 2. we don't pay more for this type of player than it would have taken to sign them for Blackburn.

no thanks he is a 1st rate asshole. plus he would demand 75k a week to play for us too.

Didn't Savage play against us at Ewood Park this season? Pretty sure he did. I'm sure I was giving him dog's abuse from the Darwen End. What a God-awful match that was.

Tugay came on for him I think and got himself sent off after spending about ten minutes flying studs-up into anyone who passed through the centre circle with the ball.
