ESPN just said it's £24m for Javi Garcia and £3m plus Savic for Nastajic

How much does that value Savic at? Have they never seen him play?

Seems to be £13m + Savic. Clearly they have. :shifty:

I read that it is a maximum of £12m where the valuation of Savic will be deducted from that...

[quote="gibbonicus_andronicus"]Last year of contract and kia as his agent played the major role in his departure i'd say. /quote]

This. I recall reading that the negotiations weren't going well last spring. Coincidentally, that was about the time we started to see his role reduced. We can't pay everyone like Yaya. Price is down because he can leave for free at the end of the year. The only alternative would have been to wait until the January window to see if the price would be higher. that's a pretty risky approach.

Thanks for a great contribution to the transformation of City Nigel and best of luck in Milan.

Had his debut for Milan. Went on just before half time. Seemed to fit in fairly well.

Someone mentioned elsewhere - a classic example of someone's stock rising due to the fact they're no longer here. Not saying he was a bad player but he isn't the answer to our problems. Him/his agent were greedy cunts. That's why we got rid

Nige didn't do anything that Javi can't do. Plus he's younger, better looking and knows where the goal is.

Yeah, as a player I thought he was excellent. Just what we needed in a game like last night to solidify the back 4 but if he's holding the club to ransom being a greedy twunt then we were right to get rid.

Garcia looks a decent player anyway.

Totally agree with you guys!
That's exactly why we got rid of Carlos Teves when we did.
Am I right or am I right?

And he's a fantastic story teller. I could listen to him all day.
