According to the papers this morning Dunne is about to sign a 56k a week deal with us

Dunne isn't worth £56k a week. There I've said it.

Don't deny that mate, at the very least it means that Hughes doesn't need to look for another CB, but £56k a week? Nah, not having iit.

I completely agree. However if he paid out his contract we would get £1 million odd (he has been on low wages really in reall terms since being with us)

Spurs and Pompscum both offered him £50k a week.

It would cost £5million at least probably more to replace with equal or better quality and we know what we have with him.

Not much choice really we have to be willing to pay the going rate just shows how much power players have these days.

Newcastle probably offered him £100k a week LOL.....

no player is worth the level of wages these days, but in relative terms i'd say that's about right for dunne. what's terry on, 120k?

I would agree.....I think he's worth the 56k and he is one of the best 10 defenders in the premiership so nuts to all you naysaying swines on here....

Dunne on that, or Puyol on that, which I reckon if Barca were to let him go, would be achievable

Less than a third of what Ronaldinho wants, so good luck to him.

There's just something so much more reassuring about having Dunne standing next to Micah Richards when we are under the cosh.
