I hope he can adjust and play alot more games next season before he leaves in january. i watched him a few time for Olympiakos in the champions league and he was by far the best player on the pitch each time.

also anyone who watched copa america could see just what he is capable of.

he only had one decent game for us though and that was against spurs

Some of these players take time to settle. The worry is that one season may not be chance enough for him to show his best, if he's capable of peforming to his best at Prem level.

Yeah on paper he is much better but confidence is a massive thing in football.

He was so good when he played with Olympiakos in the CL.

In Copa America he was at his best, WOW first game against Brazil he was unbelievable.

Hopefully he'll get more time of playing next season to show what is he capable of.

*dragd thread back on topic*

From what I've seen of Castillo this season, I have to say he's looked a pile of shit. If he is to add anything to the squad leading up to January, he needs to put on about 3 stone, grow a foot or two, and stop running sideways across the pitch whenever he's on the ball.

nah, he's good. he can run with the ball... what he needs is the rest of the team to move around when he does it to open up some space so the opposition cant just crowd him and outmuscle him. he definitely has talent.
