True, but it's fair to say he also gives the opposition numerous free kicks and the odd penalty.

That's true.

why didnt sven give logan a run at left back after he called him back? sun was playing awful and the kid had looked really good pre season.

Giving 100% isn't the only measure though. Being good helps. Being half competent would be a start. He's a great pro, works hard, never complains, he's just not good enough for the prem.

Bless him, I always really wanted Sun to do well for his enthusiasm and commitment to the cause. But I can't bear to watch whenever he's anywhere near the ball or inside our penalty area. Or even when he's within 20 feet of the pitch, tbh.

True, have a question: did any of you see/find the highlights of Thai League All-Star XI game?

If Sun gets a new contract then I think I should get a shot at one. Hell, I'll make sure that if I give up a penalty that I either break someones leg or absolutely cripple the guy. You guys know, some entertainment value since Thaksin wants some money ;)

He's not an awful player, he has pace and works hard. Great choice Miggs

thanks gibbi, and cloudy yes he works hard and is a decent passer just what we need, someone who can actually pass the ball well.

He is knocking on the door of 30 years old though.

Obviously he's older than we'd like, but if he can get the job done and add European experience to a side which obviously lacks it, who are we to complain?

Fair point, I just think there are better options out there.

I think Portsmouth will get raided this summer, Lassana Diarra and Niko Kranjcar will both leave. Either of them would be a fantastic buy. I wouldn't be surprised to see either, or both go to Arsenal though. With Flamini Leaving, I think Wenger will want Diarra back.

i only suggested nakamura as a replacement for sun as obviously franky wants an asiain player in the ranks and nakamura is probably one of the best asians around.
