Bojinov Agents Admits Doubts Over City Future
Valeri Bojinov's agent cannot guarantee that his client will still be on Manchester City's books come next season.
The 21-year-old Bulgarian ace has beome something of the forgotten man at City, as he has made only three appearances to the side since his £5.75million from Fiorentina last summer as the result of rupturing his knee ligaments very early into the season.

Eriksson was chiefly responsible for bringing Bojinov to the Premiership, so his agent has been frank enough to say that there are big questionmarks over the striker's future so long as there are such big doubts over Eriksson's job.

"At Manchester City there is a particular situation, in England we need to know if Eriksson will remain or not, he is the coach who wanted Valeri," Gerry Palomba told Calcio Mercato.

"After the tour in Thailand, the fate of many players at Manchester City will be decided."

The latest word on the Eriksson saga is that the Swede is edging closer to a return to Lisbon after he confirmed that he met with Benfica officials on Wednesday.

For the amount of money that City are gonna want for him(At least his transfer fee recouped) I dont think many teams will go in for him. He's just spent an entire season out injured with one of the most serious injuries a footballer can have and its not certain that he can still play at the highest level.

I still think Sven is going to stay... Frank has never said he was even going to sack Sven... he might have contacted Scolaris agent to see if he will sell pies at COMS!

Agree, but anyhow I think If sven leaves then I don't think Boji will stay.

I'd say this is more paper shit. Not worth getting worked up over it.

Concurred. I'm really not believing anything I read at the moment.

Doesn't seem like a big deal to me - all his agent has said is that Sven bought Bojinov and as Sven may or may not be at City next season, it remains to be seen if he will still fit into the plans at City. That's only natural whenever a new manager (not even confirmed that will happen) comes in to any club. The headline obviously twists it to look like he is considering leaving, but there is no indication of that from what is actually said.

Careful, you are speaking calmly, and using common sense here. Them's rare qualities at the moment.

I dunno where this is from, but they couldn't even be arsed to get his age right, so what makes you think they got any other of the details correct? I wish I could be a sports journalist. It must be the easiest job in the world. Make up so much shit, that eventually you'll get something right.
