Unsure if we need another slight, quick midfielder....we really need to think about a Yaya replacement soon enough.

Between Merlin, Sane, Gonedoggin and now Bernardo, I think we are covered for running MF's.

Manchester City are in talks with Monaco about signing Mendy and are willing to offer him a five-year contract. [@mohamedbouhafsi]

MUen saying it's a done deal..
At least we're not fooking about and getting deals done now, nice and early.

Mendy at lb and walker at rb.
And pep really really needs to bring patty Roberts back in the fold for navas too.

I'm guessing he will play wide left..
Or as a play maker when el mago is not used.
I keep forgetting we have Sterling for the left side. I was singing the praises of pat Roberts before.
But I reckon weekend at bernies will be a class act under pep and learning from the best city player ever..
I'm buzzing of this get in there quick. Before other sniff about..
Mendy next please

He's a 23 year old replacement for Dave, essentially. Grauniad gave a good write up, the lad lived in a one bed flat in Monaco, no fancy cars, no dishwasher and drying his laundry on his balcony while earning £30k. One of the most sought after playmakers in europe. So begins the overhaul of our somewhat aged squad.
