Deal done for 17mill.

Likened to roberto carlos because of his attacking runs and very very good long range shot. Havent seen much of him tbf.

im actually concerned. I want a left back that can defend. Instead of a left back who thinks he can be our left winger. But if he can track back and defend well then awesome

We have got 2 great crossers on that side now, I'd expect he is a decent defender though, he's a Mancini signing ffs.

not seen it confirmed anywhere, just that the bid has been accepted

Manchester City will take their summer spending to £75m after Lazio accepted their £17m bid for left-back Aleksander Kolarov.

Didn't he turn his nose up at us not so long ago? A big no from me, especially for what he would cost.

Thus ^ although I'd maybe have Kolo in for Lescott, give him and his bro a chance to play together. Who would be your captain?

£17m... we must have a que of agents a mile long outside our ground. Still you never know, he might turn out to be a bargain.

Won't have Kolarov tatooed on my arse till it's on the OS but sounds like good news.

Kompany for captain IMO.

let's face it, it's the way he going to play

and the way that three of the semi finalists played in the world cup

I am becoming increasingly concerned about the number of players we seem to be buying. Presumably Kolorov is coming and maybe Ballotelli, and possibly Dzeko and Milner and even perhaps Maicon (although that story seems a little far fetched). Mancini must have faith in his own man management skills if he thinks he can keep this lot hapy as well as the likes of Bridge, Lescott etc, who are all very expensive players in their own right.

It has all the potential for tears before bedtime.

Why are you concerned? We'll need a lot of players for the coming season if we are to have a serious run in the Europa Cup (we should be looking to win this), the FA and the League as well as challanging at the top of the Prem.

We will be off loading a number of players now we have these new signings in place. RSC, SWP, Ned, Craig, Ireland may be leaving us very soon.

I am concerned that these people coming are not just here to boost their pension like Mac Manaman and Viera , but younger players who will want to play regularly. If they don't they will become unsettled and that usually leads to a knock on effect amongst the others.
