Joe Hart on the possibility of Manchester City colleague James Milner being named captain tomorrow for England's match with the Netherlands: "I'd like it to be James Milner - or Gareth Barry or Micah [Richards] because they're my boys, my teammates, but whoever it is I will help them."

I love this guy.

I wonder what he thinks about at night before he goes to sleep. I wonder if he's ever lonely.

'Song for Joe'

I walk the streets alone at night
a shadow in the Etihad stadium light
I didn't know that love could hurt
How much Joe’s heart is worth.

All that we've never had gone forever
things that we’ve never said, and most likely never be
but living without you causes angst in me.

If there's a tear in my eye
It's all for you
You don't have to fap yourself Joe,
If there's a tear in your Japs eye
I’ll do it for you. (for yoooooooouuuuu)

I am in love with him. If we win the league this season, just how crucial will he have been in that? He's as important as any of the other stars - some of the points we'd have lost without him...the point at Anfield where he was amazing (the save from Andy Carroll at the end is one of the saves of the season), we'd have dropped two points at Villa but for his crazy-fast reactions in stoppage time.

£600k - one of the best bits of business ever done in the Premier League.

I like that so many of our players seem like genuinely decent guys too. It warms my heart. Better than having a Rooney or a Giggs. Fucking hell. There's only really Tevez that's an odious little twat isn't there?

I know we'd never sell but what price would you attach to Joe Hart? His ability at such a young age, coupled with his maturity and attitude must make him valuable. I know goal keepers rarely attract big price tags, but I'd easily call it £30 million + (I'm trying to be conservative).

in today's market, id say 30-40M sounds about right. Take De Gea, almost 20M haha your having a laugh.

Hart - proven international & in Premiership, young, literally will save you about 5-10 points a season.

Outside of england 30M
In england 40M

Joe Hart is adamant that Manchester City still believe they can win the Premier League this season.

With Manchester United playing Everton at Old Trafford in the lunchtime game on Sunday, City might again be eight points behind when they kick off at Wolverhampton Wanderers later that afternoon.

But the England goalkeeper said: "There is no point in us turning up on Sunday if the title race is over. We've still got to believe, we've still got to fight for every single point available," before he dismissed Roberto Mancini's comments that the championship is already over.

"I don't think he [Mancini] means that the season is over. I think he is just trying to play it down a little bit and let us get on with what we need to do," he said. "There is no way any of us would give up until it is mathematically impossible."

There are four games remaining with City and United's next outing after their respective matches on Sunday their derby on Monday week at the Etihad Stadium. If City defeat Wolves and then United, Sir Alex Ferguson's side would still have a two-point advantage and the destiny of the title would remain in their hands. "Other than that, we've got to rely on other teams. We can only battle away and try and win every game and hope that United slip up," added Hart, who is among the nominees for the PFA Player of the Year.

Hart also paid tribute to Carlos Tevez, who scored a hat-trick in the 6-1 win at Norwich City on Saturday, and highlighted the impact his return has made. "We have been a bit dry on goals recently, so that fresh Carlos input has been awesome," he said.

"You can say what you want about Carlos Tevez, but when he plays, he plays to win and he plays for his team-mates. There are far more important things in our lives than what went on and what didn't go on. We have that goal of trying to win the league and Carlos has bought into that. He has not come in and tried to make any big statements. We have just all moved on."

Loved his celebration of Aguero's goal. Great to see. Nice to know he can be used as a sweeper, too

In or around?

I wonder if she marks out her area to cover the angles?
