do you think this lad will be given a chance this season? It seems like hughes fancies him over sturridge already:confused:

Also if you think he'll be given a chance how do you think he'll do?

I think he's going to get a shot alright.
Proberley used in the leauge cup.
But i think sturridge will get his chance to and in the prem at that.
he looked sharp the other night and showed a good eye for goal.
And with boj scoring yesterday is good too, he deserves a chance to show what he can do.
I think rolando is going to be warming the bench, unless he can get a move back home very soon.
Id really like to see us go for santa claus, even tho he got a knock ..get him in sparky..

Evans and Studge will both get their fair share of chances this season I reckon. We've potentially got shit-loads of games to play, and our forward line is a patched up group which includes persistently injured and persistently shit players.

I wouldn't be surprised to see one of Evans or Strurridge get into double figures this season.

It's obvious Ched will get the chance, and that's why we signed a new deal with him. In addition we didn't aloud him to go on loan.

Dan got the chance too, he was great the other night.

Evans looks the better player to me at the moment. Good in the air and with his back to goal. Plenty of flick ons.

Hes definately going to get a chance. Sturridge looks like a decent player but hes trying too hard, I think a season loan as with Evans in the championship would do him and city the world of good in the long run.

I was thinking the same thing maybe even a loan deal to a promoted club like stoke or west brom, When Jo and Benjani are back obviously as we need all the strikers we have at the moment

Won't go to another Prem side I wouldn't have thought?

I think he'll only ever appear as sub.

Or maybe start against the likes of Stoke, Hull and West Brom.

With Jo, Bojinov,Benjani, Vassell, (Bianchi), (Elano as drop off striker) I think Sturridge and Evans appearances will be limited to injury cover and league cup. They could be used in the last 15 20 minutes of games like we used to with B-W-P, to give experience and promote some competition for places.

It's good to feel positive about strikers again.

Hughes probably won't play 4-4-2 all the time, so being 5th or 6th in the pecking order won't favour them. They need to make the most of our injury situation if given opportunities.

Bianchi will almost certainly be leaving if they can get some money back for him and he will take a pay cut.

I read somewhere that Bianchi wants to stay and likes what he has seen of Mark Hughes so far. Bianchi said he wants to prove he can make a go of it at City. Maybe knows he can't earn the same elsewhere or maybe he really does think he has what it takes. I always thought he had an attitude problem rather than not being a decent striker - when he did play he did well. Just didn't seem to hit it off with Sven.

Still rumours doing the rounds that Hughes wants another forward. Bianchi has had about 30 minutes play in pre season so far. I dont think he has any future at the club to be honest.
