Presumably this would allow Richards to go to right back if needed?

Think you'd make a better manager than Hughes then?

Why would the signing of TBH be ridiculous? Why would Jo's signing be ridiculous?

How is playing Richards in midfield mad or even out of position? Richards is a natural midfielder, who is being played out of position in the defence.

Does every post have to be a moan?

Cheer up for fucks sake. This constant pessimism is getting really fucking irritating.

There. Rant over. I feel much better now.

Tantrum.

I pretty much agreed with everything alera said, hence you must be talking out yer hole.

It allows all sorts of defensive combo's. Gives us an option for Corluka to maybe cover as a defensive midfielder if needed.

Not a great signing from Nedum's point of view mind.

Was it pessimistic? Is pessimism a bad thing anyway?

Personally, I thrive on it.

Should I go to the AC match, or should I go camping I wonder?

I'd imagine so, probably be a great laugh, but i do so enjoy the Thomas Cook match, usually. its like a gentle breaking back into the season. the Porto one was fucking awful though.

I went to the Barca and Lazio ones. barca one was great. (Opening of the stadium etc) Lazio not so much. The Uefa cup kind of takes the edge of the 'gently breaking back in' bit though.

So now we have Ben Haim, will he be second string or what? Can he play right back?

You should tell Sven, then he can try it for the Blackburn game last December.

*peers into wormhole*

Listening to Hughes he hasnt been signed as cover as such. He basically said the defence fell apart towards the end of last season when Dunne, Richards etc were out of the team (very true looking at the last match)

We have 39 games in the leage 18 or so if you went all the way in the Uefa cup plus the same again for for the fa cup and Carling. Then you have the fact that nearly all our first team squad are internationals so they have to play for their country as well, injuries etc....

Like I said as long as we get the players we actually need to go straight into the first team and it dosnt involve moving our best players out of their natural positions I am for squad building. Just have to see who else we sign.
