Proper out and out winger, which is nice. Watched him a few times for Sevilla but looking forward to seeing how he does in the Prem, been hearing about him for years.

Wiki doesn't paint the best picture mind, didn't score once in 36 league games last season, and

"He suffers from chronic homesickness,[22] to the extent he walked out of training camps within Spain because they were too far away from Seville. He also suffers from anxiety attacks[23] and seizures.[24] Navas initially refused to travel with Sevilla during pre-season to the United States due to his acute homesickness, later deciding that he would travel in a bid to rid himself of this condition.[4]"

I'm sure the Mancunian climate will do him wonders!

According to Sid lowe from the Guardian, Navas has "fully overcome" his anxiety attacks and will join City for an initial fee of £17million.

Watch us get rid of Dzeko just as we get some speed merchant peppering the box with crosses from the byline.

Guardian reporting it as a done deal but nothing on the beeb or OS yet. Personally don't know much about him but this super homesickness sounds hilarious. Fits my arse. Seen a few of them in town centres on a Saturday night

Last I heard was that was dead in the water but that was from Marca and saying Real were to sign him so worth taking it with a pinch of salt

The irony being that we could actually do with a defensive midfielder

"Navas has been tormenting defenders with his electric runs down the right wing since making his top-flight debut for Seville in 2003."

Christ knows we've been needing that since Bellamy was the wrong sort of personality.

Some actual pace on the opposite side to Silva.

Its great news all round: We've got a fast player, we got him at the start of June so he'll do a whole pre-season, he's a third creative player that will force the best out of Nasri and Silva as 3 fight for 2 starting places - the other being an amazing sub/squad rotation.

Silva has a summer off too so he doesn't have to win another international cup. Should be refreshed for next season.

What could possibly go wrong? :TopHat1

Or we need to get a tune out of Garcia. We've got Rodders and Barry too, and possibly Yaya depending on where the new manager wants to play him. If memory serves Yaya scored two great goals playing in an advanced position again Villarreal in the CL group stages the season before last, when I think Pellegrini was their manager..

I'm in total agreement re: Garcia - I hope to god there's more to come from him next season. Barry is in decline IMO and both Rodwell and Yaya look best when pushed further forward. Maybe we will see Miner more central with this signing? I suppose any two from Yaya, Rodwell, Barry, Garcia, Milner should[/i] be more than enough

Well whatever next seasons team looks like, no one can dispute Man City are the best looking in any league anywhere. I wonder if he likes accents
