I know fuck all about Rodney Marsh except;

-he was before my time as a player
-many city supporters have nowt but angst for him
-I saw him once in the pub that is now the sainsbury's local on the corner where Wilmslow becomes Palatine road, he was doing a pre-game and during game radio commentating thing with some other geezer, it was witnessed by me and a about 4 other people (and possibly listened by less) and by about 9pm when Rodders had well fucked off there was a dude who was reasonably affable up until the time he became drunk and annoying and he was barking at his city supporting mate's ear about how wrong it was that city supporters sang munich songs. he said it was understandable from scum like scousers and leeds but not manc fans. By fuck he went on.
