He's not good enough, simple as that.

Pointless signing.

I will say, he needs to sort his hair out. You either go short or full afro. That was worst of both worlds today.

Fucking stellar first post, btw.

I can't believe he's still on payroll. Should have shipped him ages ago.

Seems Mancini is letting him go in the Summer.

Should have held onto AJ, Scott not given a chance, what a waste.

A quite ridiculous signing. As much as I love him, Mancini got this totally wrong. We have never played a game that suits a winger, in particular a shit one, so how was this gonna work?!

I was gutted when AJ left. FFS.

I get the impression with Sinclair and Rodwell that Mancini missed out on all his preferred signings, then someone stuck those two under his nose and he said "yeah whatever, do what you want.".

And perhaps that whole 'you must have x number of home grown players etc in your squad'. What ever happened to that law?!

Anyway, these two exactly tick that box. Mind you, AJ did too. And was proven.

Manchester City say that winger Scott Sinclair has suffered a blood clot in his shoulder and is having treatment in hospital.

The 24-year-old was taken ill during training on Friday and missed his side's goalless draw against former club Swansea on Saturday.

City tweeted a get well message to Sinclair and manager Roberto Mancini said: "Scott had a problem [on Friday].

"I don't think it is a bad situation and it is under control."

City expect to find out more about Sinclair's condition in the next 48 hours but he could be ruled out of the FA Cup final against Wigan at Wembley on 11 May.

His absence would end a frustrating season for Sinclair at the Etihad, having moved to City from Swansea for £6.2m last August.

He has made just three starts among his 15 appearances for the club this season.

Mancini suggested prior to the game at Swansea that the former Chelsea player's future may lie away from the club.

Only thing I can think occurred to me when I saw is being linked with Bale: we're painfully slow. We have a few players (Aguero, Tevez) who are quick enough over 5 yards, but no one who can run from the halfway line and not get caught. After we hit into trouble in Winter last season, I can only guess that Mancini was looking for someone who could fucking leggit, fast.

I really can't stand Bale but I can't help think someone with his attributes would improve us vastly (if we're spending the ridiculous sum mooted as £80 mil on him, we may aswell go the whole hog and get fake Ronaldo). Bale's goal today has - in my opinion - pressed this home. If we had someone playing for us today that had the attributes and gameplay style of someone like Bale/ Cronaldo I think we'd have caused a whole lot more problems and would have won. However, if Dzeko wasn't quite as shit as he is, we could have won anyway

I think Bale should be our top summer target. He's already one of the top players in the league and he's still only 23. It's not often that a British player comes along that's this good and we'd get a good 10 years of world class football from him.

probably caused by sitting still too long all season.
