Which book though?

Emigre's had a book published. Only in paperback and on Kindle though.

I'd go something in hardback but not too thick thereby achieving the perfect balance between impact damage and accurate trajectory.
A first edition of Kafka's Metamorphosis perhaps?

Emigre's book, not Kindle. That would be a backward step.

He's coming to stay on Tuesday. I might ask for an advance on my commission.

You can take a horse to water but you can't make it scuba dive.

I have read the first 2 chapters of Emigre's book.
Amusing but a touch wordy.
