Important Fantasy Football news: Sergio Aguero, my team captain, no less, has been ruled out of Manchester City's clash with Aston Villa tomorrow. Mario Balotelli is almost certain to start, having overcome back knack. Word is Owen Hargreaves could make his Premier League debut for the club too.
City's provisional squad: Hart,Richards, Zabaleta, Kompany, Lescott, Kolarov, Savic, Clichy, K Toure, Milner, Y Toure, Johnson, Silva, Barry, Nasri, De Jong, Hargreaves, Balotelli, Dzeko, Pantilimon.

however still more than enough to do for villa, even if dunne does score against us. do villa still have ireland?

Yeah, he played last game. Has a bit of an injury but expected to be fit. Mancini said Aguero may be on the bench. He will certainly rest Kolarov and Zabs so just Richards and Clichy then. :D

Think Nige will get a start, he was only on the bench for Holland.

The big question for me is whether he will start Silva. I think he may rest him and save him for Villarael and them lot. Probably have him on the bench. I think whichever team we pick will be very strong so not too worried.

not sure how right i am or if it would be mental to even consider it... but our priority may have already shifted away from chumps league to the domestic league and cups.

qualifying is going to be a bit of a bitch considering the dropped points.

Not yet we won't have. The Scum only have 2 points from their first two games and that was courtesy of a last minute equaliser. Napoli away is key IMO. We need to better their result at our place. so 2.2 draw or win.

Yep, spot on mate...
Were not out of it yet, but it is in our hands...
always was a tough group, but considering the munich match, for part of it, we were decent..
Whos to say we can't turn em over on our turf..

I hope Barry doesn't start, I know he is a vital cog and all but he always has a shocker against Villa.
I saw a stat the other day that Yaya has the highest number of successful passes in the PL:approve: I fucking love Yaya:whistle:

i'd go 4-4-2 and swap out yaya for balo myself. on account of mad mario has seemed much improved of late, and yaya has looked tired/lethargic.

edit

shows what i know...

I'd be happy if he took Nasri's space I guess, it was a toss up between him and Dzeko and I think Edin suffers from a dip in form if you leave him out.
Super sub.

Yaya should be first name on the team sheet. Probably our best signing of the current era after Silva.

This game is sickening me. I know we should get a win here but, and i'm guessing i ain't the only one here whose thinking this.

Red dippers do one over U*d tomorrow, then a clear steer for us to go 3 ahead, and we balls it up. I am hoping for a 5-0 to us but being a City Fan yer just know it, whether it be the team of 95 or today i still get that TC moment.

also with De Jong back we can now push Yaya further forward again.

prolly

seems knackered of late though. or maybe just playing too close to defensive mid to make himself felt in games.

He's unavailable for Tuesday so makes sense to play him. He's also coming into some form and I can see him causing Dunney no ends of problems. Dunney would prefer to have to look after a Dzeko type player. Having said that Dzeko has a lot more to his game than being a target man.

Dzeko has also had 2 tough games for Bosnia and Balo has had a rest.

Great problem to have though.

I think this might be a perfect game for Hargreaves, since he can't play CL.
