It's on the official site that we are tp play Celtic at Parkhead on the 6th Aug. Nice 1, might go to that.

You'd have thought we'd have arranged one with Rangers as historically we're the protestant clubs of our respective Cities.

Just as long as there's no giant screens.

3 games in a week though, and Celtic and AC Milan 3 days apart seems a bit like hard work just before the start of the season. Lots of subs and changed teams I'm guessing.

You'd have understood the club reducing the number of friendlies given the UEFA cup qualifiers.

Talking of religion. A friend of mine always goes on the march that the Italian catholic association of manchester do every June. This year he was carrying the flag at the front. Anyway, at the end, I was talking to him when I heard "Well done big man", said from behind, and a hand came in between us from the side to shake hands with my friend. I turn to see who it was, and... You'll never guess who it was. Go on guess. Okay I'll tell you. It was Brian Kidd.

Just thought I'd tell you that.

Will a great game before the season starts, and another game with AC Milan. Not a bad pre-season at all.
