This is Engalnd is the only film of his I've seen. I saw a box set in hmv and think I may pick it up.

The cinema is clogged up with shite at the moment so it was good to see some quality get through.

I might have to purchase this film tonight, along with Oracular Spectacular

You won't regret it for a moment. Dead Man's Shoes is probably my favourite, all the rest are very good indeed.

Did you ever get to see Control slart? I eventually got it on DVD. Great film but not easy to watch.

I've heard there's another film out now or soon about Joy Division, more of a docudrama but it's had some very good reviews.

Not heard of that. I'll have to have a browse. They may be in danger of overkill though...

Cheers. Will have to keep my eye out for that on DVD. SHouldn't be too long judging by the cinema release date.

No. Should have seen it in the cinema really. Is that the one by Anton Corbijn? I'll try and get it at Xtravision.

I think they may have shown this in the IFI as a one off recently.

There are too many Joy Division films out now, but a documentary should be good. Interesting to hear what they say about the New Order split.

From what I've heard the split was because of the deep rooted rift in the band that harks back to the money that was poured into the Hacienda.

They acted like idiots but made some great orignal records. Nobody like them before or since.

Only got to see them twice. Both times a shambles and utter chaos. Two of the best shows I've ever seen!

It struck me as a bit odd. He had a shaved head and the tatt was high on his neck. No missing it.

No big neo-nazi movement in Dublin right now. At the last general election there was an anti-immigration candidate in our area. My brother received a leaflet through his letterbox. The candidate lived around the corner from him. My brother phoned up, called out his address and told him he would be paid a visit if he continued to distribute his racist crap. I think he received about 17 votes.
