Just 3 friendlies as I can see, but 5 games in all...

City’s pre-season schedule is beginning to take shape with the players returning to training in just over a week’s time and some fixtures already pencilled in.
Several announcements regarding pre-season were made late last week, so here’s a rundown of where City will play and when.

Early July: Players return to Carrington before moving to training camp in south Germany.

Thursday 17th July: UEFA Cup first qualifying round first leg – opponents and venue to be confirmed, draw will be made on July 1st. The home leg will be played at Oakwell, home of Barnsley FC.

Saturday 26th July: Pre-season friendly away to Hamburg SV, kick off time to be confirmed.

Thursday 31st July: UEFA Cup first qualifying round second leg.

Saturday 2nd August: Pre-season friendly away to Stockport County, kick off at 3.00pm.

Saturday 9th August: Thomas Cook Trophy match v AC Milan at the City of Manchester Stadium, kick off at 5.15pm.

It's like 5 games for the pre-season, not bad at all.

Still no news on the Hamburg game when I went on the HSV site. Anyone heard anything yet from City?

tickets are 10 quid from City. According to the HSV site, the tickets are only available on general sale as of Monday - only for season ticket holders at the moment. But the site still mentions Mpenza being with City:

http://www.hsv.de/index.php?id=16047&tx_ttnews%5Btt_news%5D=2689&cHash=c00fea69ab

The starting price this side is €15, but I don't want to sit with the Hamburg lot.
Anyone going to bother?

Unfortunately, due to the cost, I don't think that I'll be bothering this time around. I had really planned on driving up, but have booked a trip to Manchester for a month later anyway.

It's supposed to. It's in the Hamburg rules.
