We got West Ham first home game, followed by Sunderland and Chelsea

We play ALL the "big 4" at home before we play them away!

Not unhappy with that fixture list actually, prefer if the away derby wasnt so close to end of season but other than that, it's alright.

We also get chelsea out of the way early.

Why is our home derby ALWAYS before the away derby fixture? Bizarre.

It wasn't the season before last, when Ronaldo scored a pen and Vass missed one - that was our last home game of the season.

Also, the season we beat them 4-1 at home...that was late in the season, and we'd already been beat at OT.

So there

Should be an interesting game. Two teams hoping to go for UEFA Cup football through league position. Wouldn't surprise me if Sky or Shitanta snapped this up

so as far as when the big four meet each other.. it is not random, but prearranged. for marketing the gland slam weekends etc. but therefore none of the "big four" meet for the first month. this gives them time to settle into the season without one of them having to lose points and confidence and gives a platform for the rest of the season. is this not unfair?

The fixture list isn't entirely random anyway. Teams get to say that they don't want to be travelling to the other end of the country on New Years or Boxing Day. Not that it always works out, but it isn't completely random

that's what im saying. it isnt random, but does it lend unfair advantage to some teams?

Sorry i thought you just meant the grand slam sunday thing isn't random.

Of course it's unfair, but it's unfair that games don't kick off at the same time, United can play on a Sunday at 16:00 having seen everybody else's results and know what they need to do.

That's the world we live in
