I think someone* should keep a tally of how many points we'd get over the season if all of Lawro's predictions were correct.

I wonder what a Lawro league would look like if all of his predictions came true. We'd probably do worst than Derby last season, and naturally Liverpool would walk the league with a record points tally.

Strangely enough down for another defeat from Fart Knocker

Manchester City v West Ham United

There are more questions than answers at Manchester City at the moment.

I am not sure in which direction the club is heading. Are they going to be signing players? Manager Mark Hughes could well have a job keeping his players focused on the football.

West Ham had a good start in defeating Wigan and the key for them is undoubtedly Dean Ashton.

He is a good player who was unfortunate to miss out playing for England but he has been passed fit to play on Sunday.

Verdict: 1-2

Bullshit.

I can't see West Ham coming to our place and scoring 2.

Sunderland v Manchester City

Sunderland have now got strength in depth and real competition up front for places. I like the balance of the team and their hunger. There is a bit of feel good factor there, which counts for something.

City are not quite sure what they are at the moment. But I was impressed with Daniel Sturridge last week and it will be interesting to see what [new signing] Jo does.

Verdict: 2-1

New to this thread I guess? Its Lawro's Prediction (Not mine) for city each week. Each week, he predicts us to lose and we take the piss.

Good news is that Sunderland had Extra time against Forrest last night in the League cup, BTW.
