I like the comments. Rag fans are so desperate they are trying to mock us for spending money on Robinho. Just because we forced their bankrupt asses to pay more than they wanted to for Berbatov who will only sulk when he gets dropped.

The location made me lol:

"Ha, ha, ha, ho, ho ho, what fun it is to be a Man Utd fan now, Xmas has come early, the laffs have began, City have proved themselves to be jokers again, Hughes thought he was having Berba and ends up with a player he aint seen or spoke with, a player who 24 hours earlier pleaded to join Chelski and then decides to follow his dream of European glory in the wastlands of eastlands.....................money talks for Robinho, Hughes should have stuck to the principles of honesty he would have learned from his days with Fergie, and refused to have this mercenary at the club, but hey do I care, once again the joke is on city. Brin. Swansea."

Its like most walks of life. People are only interested in money. Football is no different. So why pretend its any different. He came to us for the money everyone knows that.

Get over it.

The problem is Real are Huge in Brazil they are probably as big as the national side. To them its like him saying he wants to play for England instead of Brazil.

It would not surprise me if they drop him from the national side for this, at least for a while. Lets hope he comes back with a point to prove.

Give it time. With our 4 brazilians we'll soon be their pet team...

That is weak, and embarrassing. Once again a rag twat makes him/her self look retarded. As much as they pretend they're not worried about city, we know they are. They make me piss the way they think it's wrong when anybody does to them what they've been doing to everyone else for years. They've got no shame.

Theres a certain mindset now among german city fans i noticed, and that is not a good one. Which i certainly cant understand.

Football is a business in the end, and people finally gotta face it. And then consider that: You loved your team when they were down in minor leagues, why suddenly stop supporting 'em.... just coz they got the money?

That is ridicolous imo....

Yup. Even with players who go to clubs 'to win things'. You can pretty naively think that such a move is solely for the euphoria of the moment of victory, medals to show, experiences to tell the grandkids about etc etc. However, if winning trophies didn't come with a potential bumper new contract, bonuses, a higher public profile, more endorsements etc, their choice of club would be much more difficult. It's not the whole of the story, but 'ambition' is an easy, noble-looking excuse for the fact that the most successful clubs have the most famous and best-paid players.

So you're Brazilian then? Welcome to the forum. We could have half your national team before long. We've not got that far to go actually. We've already got 3. Could have been 4 had we not got rid of Giovanni, and he was still an international. Any other great players you got that you think we should go for?
