been there once and it is one of the best grounds i've been to

such a shame that after tonight it will be in a state of disrepair with half the seats eaten and goalpoasts demolished

even if you manage to repair the damage, the smell of rotting flesh the 30-odd thousand cannibals soon to be in there will leave behind is not going to go away in a hurry

i have such good memories of the place but they are soon to be a thing of the past

RIP City of Manchester Stadium :(

Half 8 this morning I saw a group of them walking through Ashton markt, Tennants in one hand, crates in the other. Legends!

you wont be saying that when they're smashing up your stadium like they did last time they were in a european final

only team ever not to be allowed be presented with their trophy on the night nor be allowed to defend it

sorry folks, the end is near :(

It is illegal to try and gain entry into a football stadium wankered, equally it is illegal for City to allow entry to people clearly wankered. Given our stewards rather heavy handed approach to enforcing the smoking ban, I expect it to be a rather quiet night as most of the jocks will be locked out.

Should be funny looking at an empty stadium on the telly this evening. I take it nobody here is going to the game.

I wonder if Rangers will be banned from Europe after this?

Doubt it, the bother was mainly in town due to a big screen that broke down, the coppers say it was a minority of Rangers fans that kicked off.

apparently they'd arranged buses to take the fans to another screen at the velodrome so they could watch it but they had already kicked off with the police so the buses couldnt get in.

i hope rangers pick up the bill for cleaning up the city and all the extra police hours.
