Brighton cup date set for September 24th 29/08/2008 12:41



With City’s progress in the UEFA Cup now assured, we can confirm the date of our Carling Cup second round tie.
The Blues travel to the south coast to face Brighton & Hove Albion on Wednesday, September 24th. Kick off at the Withdean Stadium will be 7.45pm. The tie was put back due to City's second leg against FC Midtjylland in the UEFA Cup this week.

There will be a few from here going down just for the scene haha

Brighton are my 2nd team. Well not my 2nd team, just the only team I want to do well other than City of course. I heart them but it's not the same kind of love I have for my Blues, naturally. I once made a promise that I would look for Brighton's results, kind of support them, go to games when they play locally etc etc etc. I have to break this promise, but only for when they play us, after that I want them to beat everyone, do fantastically, and be marvellous.
So I do hope we beat them, and comfortably beat them, I cant cope with 1-0 wins, but I don't want us to batter them - Contraversial I know, but a promise is a promise.

so many promises yet this is the one you choose to keep?:confused:

Not keeping it, keeping it. Just keeping it a bit, if that makes sense.
As I said I hope we win, but I'm not going to pretend that I don't like Brighton
