Maybe Frank's views would be changed if we can win this game?

Winning at Anfield would be a hell of an achievement.

I have a question, last week when *swallows bitter pill* Fulham beat us in last kick of the match, was anyone else's spirit fractured in to something requiring atleast 4 months rest from football? That loss coupled with Thaksin's attempt to get in the Guinnes Book of World Record's for most ridiculous sacking ever has me totally confused and frustrated. Much like every other preceding season's latter matches.

Not sure exactly what a win at Liverpool would prove. I guess mathematically we can still make UEFA next season. If we can't hold a 2 - nil lead over a team we totally dominated, are we fit for Euro?

That Fulham game, fuck me...as I draped myself over my laptop on another Saturday afternoon, seemingly happy with 3 points bagged and then as we looked to the next fixture at Anfield as a real contest, well that Fulham match stood up and had something else to say. I for one wasnt happy with what it had to say. It totally fubarred my; mood, weekend, spirit and hope I carried for the best part of season 2007/08. It was such a c^nt of a match to lose. We were Spurs in the FA cup of 2 seasons ago.

Anyway, I'll of course be cheering on City. In true City form we'll prolly win.

Danny's tip? Liverpool 2 -0 City.

I'm thinking it was a good thing that we lost to Fulham... and a really bad thing we lost to Fulham.

The bad things: We dropped 3 points, Fulham are shit, Frank is questioning Sven.

The good things: The players will be fired up for Sven against the scouse, if we beat them we would be on a... three game streak? With that the players would have gone out all big headed and because they're on a streak they'll be in the mind set of 'Oh we've won three on the trot so were going to beat you' which would result in a tonking like the away Chelsea match...

I agree with the 'bad things,' but after such a turbulent week; players being linked away left right and center, european chances hanging by a thread and the manager being under fire from the press i think this could play pretty poorly on the players.

But I think this is a good test for everyone, whether they crumble under the pressure or play with fire and pride (even if we lose) to, potentially, save their manager and finish what in actual fact has been a brilliant season with a bang.

Today's results have left it as simple as as it gets - All out for the win at Liverpool. Draw is no good and we can't finish any lower than we already are.

Let's finish the season on a high forget about last week - it happens - and try and pip villa at the post for 6th.

Who's with me!!!

This new site is pretty nifty. I don't know what to think of this match though and how the guys will come out and play. I'll say 1-1 with Petrov.

I fear a humping. 3-0, Torres.

I've read Torres is doubtful, so that may give us some hope.
