We deserved the lost, because we weren't trying at all. Couple of chances by Benji and Elano from the free kick spot, and that's about it.

Fucking atrocious performance and if Sven wasn't going to be sacked at the end of the season that performance may just convice me that he should go.

Castillo is bobbins, sloppy play from Sun, Vassell and Ball to let in Torres.

One of the worst performances I have seen this season and we were lucky Liverpool are already on thier Holidays otherwise we would have had a Chelsea type score against us today.

Not being able to put the back of the ball in the net has cost us again. Think I've just counted 13 games this season where we've failed to score.

Not a great record at all.

Piss poor may be a little generous and nice. This game basically wrapped up Sven getting sacked and you can't ask why. These past few months have shown some absolutely horrible performances especially the last 120 minutes of soccer played by the club.

I'm a nice guy, always like to give the benefit of the doubt. :)

Sun has been suspect since he has come back into the team, Ball is ok against teams lower down in the league but doesnt close down enough and allows to many cross's into the box and that was by far the worst performance that Vass has put in since he came back into the starting line up.

Parts of Liverpools midfield are class though and in Mascherano they have the best defensive midfielder I've seen in a long time. Time and time again he stopped us from having any time on the ball and thats what caused us to start pumping the long ball from the back (though thats something we too easily revert to)

We weren't great today, but couldn't really see us getting anything at Anfield anyway....

I thought Sun was suspect during the game but he actually did pretty well overall, in my opinion. Ball was fucking horrible though. I don't understand how he continues to get in the lineup. The goal Liverpool scored can be directly linked to him and trying to force a pass in the middle of the pitch. Just knock the ball up the sideline and keep the game going, but instead he tries to get creative and that was when things really started to go down the drain.

Sun's challenge on Babel was very dodgy, about 2 mins in?

He was very very lucky not to get a card for that. His profuse apologising may have helped.

Definitely lucky.

As soon as he made the challenge, I thought 'Oh here we go, great start, down to 10 men already'

Don't know how he got away without even a booking?

If it were later on he could well have been sent off. As it is I can't recall a booking-good for fair play possibilities. :)

Nice to see fans with Sven masks, I think we really tried in the first half but then just collapsed in the second...

(Pink Floyd – Another Brick in the Wall):

We don’t need no Phil Scolari. We don’t need Mou-rin-ho. We started brightly and faded slightly; But that’s just us, we’ll…bounce right back.

OY! Thaksin! Leave our Sven alone!

All in all you’re just a-nother Thai on the rack (x2).
